We love our Four Pretty Paws family and we know that you will, too! Not only are they experienced groomers, but more importantly, they are a group of kind, patient, and passionate people who strive to provide the best grooming experience for pets and the people that love them.

St. Louis Team Members

Amanda

Amanda is the St Louis area market manager. She had been grooming for over 10 years. She would consider herself the biggest dog lover you’ll ever meet! She was first introduced to grooming by a friend and realized she found her passion from day one. Her grooming knowledge and expertise will be extremely valuable to all clients with whom she interacts and with the team ensuring we deliver the best grooming experience possible. Outside of grooming, Amanda spends a lot of her time helping with animal rescue. For the past 12 years she has volunteered for multiple rescue organizations around St. Louis fostering, transporting, and working adoption events.

Karen

Karen is our most experienced groomer with over twenty years of experience. She always knew she wanted to work with animals and make people’s lives a little bit better, one dog at a time! The look on a client’s face when they see how well their fur baby looks, makes it all worth it. Never shy to try new things, Karen attacks each day with enthusiasm with the goal to make a lasting impression and memories with her family and friends.

Stacy

Shortly after graduating from college over 10 years ago, Stacy found her calling in grooming. She enjoys the creativity it takes to make each pet look his/her best and thrives in an ever-changing environment like pet grooming. She loves how each pet is unique and endearing. In addition to being a sensational groomer, Stacy helps the team as our assistant grooming manager. When not grooming, Stacy cannot get away from her love of animals! She enjoys competing in local and national dog agility trials. She also relishes spending time with her family, and binging TV shows while working on whatever crochet project is on her hook.

Sarah

With her strong desire to help dogs look and feel better, Sarah decided to become a groomer in 2016. This is a decision that has been confirmed every day since. When she is not grooming, Sarah enjoys going to the movies, the zoo, playing mini golf and most of the time just hanging out with her husband watching tv all day.

Keri

Keri always had a strong love for animals growing up, which is why she started grooming in 2002. Right from the start, she realized how much she enjoyed making animals feel better by earning their trust and loving on them. That decision has become a lifelong passion! When she is not grooming, Keri enjoys watching movies and documentaries with her daughter, experimenting on making new meals for dinner and roller skating.

Kenzie

Kenzie has been around the dog industry for quite some time. She began showing dogs in 2015, and started attending grooming seminars in 2018. She entered the grooming industry because she wanted to have a career where she could make a difference in dogs’ lives. She has worked as a pet trainer and competes in agility, disc, lure coursing, and dock diving with her Golden, Busy, who she also showed. Kenzie loves continuing her education and attends grooming seminars as often as she can. She has certifications in senior pets and skin/coats.

Katarina

Katarina, or Kat for short, has been pampering pets since 2014. She has always loved animals and it was fate that a grooming salon was only a couple of blocks away from her house. Her favorite thing about grooming is to build trust with animals, and over time, becoming part of their family. Outside of grooming, Kat enjoys playing the ukulele, kayaking, and enjoying nature with her fur babies.

Michelle

Michelle started grooming at a very young age because she wanted to learn how to groom her own fur babies. This passion turned in a career as she has been grooming since 2004. Michelle has the longest tenure as a mobile groomer compared to everyone else on the team. When she is not grooming, she spends as much time with her family as possible, hiking and going to local events.

Casey

Casey is has been grooming for over 13 years. She decided to launch her career because she wanted to work with animals and grooming was a path toward which she just felt pulled. She loves that grooming chose HER! When she’s not giving four-legged friends a spa day, she is focused on her human family. She loves working on houses and going four-wheeling with her kids. Anywhere outside is where she likes to be!

Tori

Tori has been grooming for nine years. She truly loves making the pups look and feel great while also building a bond with each one. We’ve never known anyone who didn’t like Tori, as she’s the sweetest. When she’s not grooming, she is with her family hiking, fishing or gardening.

Jessicka

Jessicka has been grooming professionally since 2008, and has also competed and placed in grooming competitions. She especially loves dyeing dogs, as she can use her creativity to its fullest. In her spare time she loves reading and music, and spending time with her family hiking and camping [they prefer to be outdoors]. She even hosts painting nights at her house with family and friends, and considers herself an artist in all sorts of forms, including grooming. Although she has a degree in graphic design, she plans on making grooming her profession of choice!

Emily

Although she started grooming as a side project in college 11 or 12 years ago, Emily officially began her grooming career in 2015. She originally graduated with a degree in web and graphic design but learned she couldn’t sit still long enough. She found grooming kept her moving, challenged her mentally and physically every day while also making an impact in the world. She loves that no two days are the same, she has the opportunity to meet new people and pets, and she most enjoys helping pet parents identify ways to help their furry friends. In her spare time she is “owned” by two energetic dogs who she trains and trails with in obedience, barn hunt, nosework, weight pull and tracking. Emily also loves to cook and, having a minor in art, she’s always finding something new to make, study or do!

Cassie

Cassie graduated from Petropolis School of Pet Grooming in 2000, and so she is one of our most experienced groomers! Her favorite thing about grooming is creating relationships with pets, and the fact that no two days are ever the same. She thinks it’s so rewarding watching each pet’s transformation and gaining their trust. In the past she was a foster parent to pets, but now that she has children, she spends her free time at the park, zoo, creeks, lakes, Big Joel’s and any place new and fun. Cassie still has three rescue pups of her own– all senior citizens! Her favorite dogs are the silver faces and distinguished seniors. They always have her heart from the get-go!

Megan

Megan has been grooming for about five years. At the time she was certified in grooming, she also became a certified Fear Free groomer which means she specializes in handling nervous or anxious dogs. She enjoys grooming not only for the visual satisfaction but she also likes making her human [and pet] clients happy. It amazes her that something as simple as giving a dog a haircut, makes such a difference in their lives. She loves working with dogs who start off a little nervous, but eventually become comfortable with the grooming process. Her free time is spent with family and friends; she lives on the river and can often be found kayaking her way downstream.

Katie

Katie has been grooming for over 10 years. Her favorite thing about grooming is getting to cuddle with all the dogs and making them look their absolute cutest. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, hiking, swimming, road trips, reading and just relaxing with her dogs: Peeves [a golden retriever], Harley [American Staffordshire terrier] and Eebie [a lab/pit mix], which is short for Energizer Bunny, Katie’s nickname in high school!

Ashlie

Ashlie has been a groomer for almost 11 years! She knew when she was a kid she wanted to work with animals and becoming a groomer was a dream come true. She loves working with dogs and cats every day and making them feel and look their very best. Building relationships and friendships with her clients is always a bonus, too! Ashlie is a busy mom with two sons and a step-daughter; they make her world go ’round along with her rescue dog, Moose [her soul dog!] She has an amazing husband who happens to be her best friend. When she’s not grooming, she’s at her sons’ soccer games.

Tyler

Tyler has been grooming for over 10 years. His favorite thing about grooming is the opportunity to work with different breeds, as each breed is unique and has distinct personalities. Along with pampering pets, Tyler is also a licensed massage therapist and so he pampers humans, too! This provides a well-rounded approach to his grooming repertoire, taking care of a pet’s body, mind and spirit.

Emilee

Emilee has been working in the pet industry since 2022. She has experience managing doggie daycares, as well as grooming. Emilee loves being able to constantly learn new techniques and styles for dogs. Grooming is an ever-evolving industry and she loves the challenges it brings. Her hobbies include working at the St. Louis Renaissance Festival and the Hannibal Steampunk Festival. Her husband and kiddos all make custom leatherwork and work with local blacksmiths.

Chelle

Michelle (Chelle) has been grooming for over 25 years (since she was 15!). Her favorite thing about grooming is seeing her human clients’ reaction to a finished groom! She also loves dazzling up her four-legged clients for photos with bling, bows and scarves. Chelle loves grooming anything -oodle: doodles, poodles, poodle-mixes. In her free time she enjoys doing karaoke with her family, and kayaking. She is also fluent in American Sign Language!

Abigail

Meet Abigail–born and raised in the heart of The Lou, she’s been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember. She began her career in the pet industry at 19 as a dog bather and quickly advanced to professional grooming by age 20. With 13 years of grooming experience under her belt, she’s dedicated her life to making pets look and feel their best. Today, she shares her life with her husband, their toddler, two dogs, and one curious cat. Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy senior, Abigail brings patience, care, and a whole lot of love to every grooming session.

Jackie

Jackie has been grooming for eight years, beginning her career at 18 after moving to St. Louis from Florida. She started as a bather, later completed a stylist program, and has since helped train new groomers through Paragon. She joined mobile grooming to enjoy a more personal, one-on-one experience with the dogs she cares for.

Jackie’s favorite part of grooming is helping each dog look and feel their best—whether it’s a fun, creative style or a practical cut that works for their coat and lifestyle.

Originally from a big family in Minnesota, Jackie now lives in St. Louis with her sister Kat and her two dogs, Basil and Chevelle. She’s a proud fantasy and sci-fi fan who loves drawing, crafting, gaming, and watching shows in her downtime.

Sarah

Sarah is the Kansas City area market manager. She has been a professional groomer for 11 years and is passionate about providing calm, one-on-one care that allows her to truly get to know each dog—right down to their unique personality. She loves building trust with every pup she works with, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout the grooming process. Sarah believes that the best care starts with understanding, and she encourages pet parents to learn about their dog’s breed, individual needs, and the trusted professionals—trainers, groomers, and veterinarians—who support their wellbeing. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and their cats, exploring the outdoors through hiking and travel, trying new restaurants, and staying active. She also loves quiet moments with a good book or puzzle, quality time with friends and family, and tending to her ever-growing collection of plants.

Mikala

Mikala has been a professional groomer for eight years and is most passionate about the deep connection she builds with each dog she works with. She finds it incredibly rewarding to earn a dog’s trust, help calm their nerves, and watch them relax as they realize they are safe and cared for. Mikala encourages pet parents to trust their groomer, knowing that every recommendation is made with the pet’s best interest at heart. Detail-oriented and creative, she brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to animal care and grooming. Outside of work, Mikala is family-focused and values time with the people who ground her, especially being with her Doberman, Wednesday. She enjoys creative projects, building new ideas, exploring opportunities that challenge her, and continually learning—always looking for ways to grow, improve her skills, and expand what she’s capable of.

Harmony

Harmony has been a professional groomer for five years and loves helping pets look and feel their very best. She takes pride in supporting each pet’s overall health and wellness and believes that consistency is key, encouraging pet parents to keep their furry family members on a regular grooming schedule. Harmony approaches every appointment with care and attention, ensuring pets are comfortable while receiving the maintenance they need to thrive. Outside of grooming, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats and one dog. She loves being outdoors—paddleboarding, hiking, and soaking up nature—and also finds joy in caring for her ever-growing collection of plants.

Alenda

Alenda has been a professional groomer for 23 years, and for her, grooming is about so much more than a great haircut—it’s about the meaningful relationships she builds with pets and the people who love them. She finds joy in earning a dog’s trust and becoming a trusted part of their world, and she’s equally passionate about mentoring fellow groomers, encouraging them, and helping them grow into confident, fulfilled professionals within the industry. Alenda’s heartfelt advice to pet parents is to savor the everyday moments: let your dog sniff everything, pull on the leash once in a while, share a bite of your favorite snack, and slow down enough to let them climb all over you. These small acts of love become the memories you’ll treasure most. Outside of work, Alenda loves spending time with her husband, traveling whenever possible, camping, hiking in the mountains, playing disc golf, salsa dancing, enjoying life with their two Border Terriers, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Katelyn

Katelyn is one of our Client Engagement Specialists and brings a strong background in the pet industry to her role, having previously worked as a dog trainer with The Watering Hole. She loves being part of the Four Pretty Paws team and finds joy in seeing each fur baby leave looking handsome, pretty, and well cared for. Katelyn encourages pet parents to research a breed before welcoming a dog into their family, believing that understanding a pet’s needs from the start sets everyone up for success. Outside of work, she enjoys training dogs, hiking, spending time outdoors, and creating things from scratch—including making cozy blankets. At home, she stays busy with her three dogs: a Bloodhound, a German Shepherd, and a Yellow Lab.

Sara

Sara is one of our Client Engagement Specialists and has spent 11 years in the pet care industry. Pets have always played an important role in her life, supporting her through many seasons—including her most recent chapter as a new mom. She brings empathy, experience, and genuine care to every interaction with clients and their pets. Outside of work, Sara enjoys traveling (especially cruises), walking her dogs, working on puzzles, diving into true crime, and spending quality time with her daughter.

Howard

Howard is the backbone of our fleet, making sure every Four Pretty Paws van is safe, reliable, and ready to serve our clients each day. With a strong passion for problem-solving and quality workmanship, he takes great pride in seeing our drivers’ smiles when their vehicles are back on the road and running smoothly. When he’s not keeping our vans in top shape, Howard enjoys spending time with his family. You’ll often find him cheering on his kids at football games while firing up the grill and making memories with his wife. Howard’s dedication behind the scenes helps our team deliver the exceptional service our clients expect—every single day.

Kara

Kara is one of our Client Engagement Specialists. With over a decade of experience in the pet industry, she has developed a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and wellness. The knowledge she’s gained from working in boarding kennels to veterinary medicine has helped her prepare perfectly for this role. She considers herself a bit of a homebody, spending most of her free time with her daughter and animals relaxing at home. With two big yellow labs and three cats, she has a very full house! Kara is also really passionate about music and sports, and tries to attend as many concerts and games with her daughter as she can.

Brian & Colleen

We had a fur baby long before we welcomed our human babies into the family. When our first furry friend, Javea, became geriatric and blind, we looked to mobile grooming to keep her clean and comfortable. After one bad experience turned into multiple bad experiences, we were frustrated. We were treated poorly, phone calls were not returned and groomers were not friendly. Now, we are excited to bring our love of pets and business expertise to Saint Louis families whose work is demanding, schedules are filled and weekends are busy. We understand how life can get crazy and, sometimes, we don’t have the hours in our schedules to keep our furry friends clean and looking dapper. That’s where we can help. We care about pets, but we also care about your time. And we’re looking to put some time back into your busy schedule. Our goal is not only great grooming, but a great customer experience.
